I recognised a couple of those bands - particularly, The Rockin Rogues. 1965 was my last year of high school, and in classes at De La Salle Marrickville, I sat next to their rhythm guitarist Tony Asciak. In another class was their bassist Roy Shipway, and Wayne was their drummer, he had left school (the same school) in 1963. It was partly due to the inspiration of these guys who were already in a working band that we formed Me'n'Mine. Their lead guitarist was Wayne "Spooky" Rountree, a guitar hero in those days. These days he's a bassist. I used to do fill-ins for him in one of Waynes bands - Gopher Broke.

Hi Dave,
I see there are 2 Roadrunners. I have a site about Canberra Bands and I have a Roadrunners. Could you post the members please? I wouldn't mind all the members of all the bands when you get it listed.
Cheers

Wasn't Chris Hall the lead singer in the Torquays - there's also a band listed there as Chris Hall and the In Crowd. He must have been busy that day
