PHIL JONES...WHERE IS HE NOW?

I HAVE BE COMMUNICATING WITH PHIL ON A REGULAR BASIS LATELY, USUALLY GOING ON ABOUT THE OLD DAYS AND WHERE WE BOTH GREW UP.
THIS IS PHIL'S ACCOUNT OF WHAT HE AND HIS WIFE JENNIFER, ARE DOING.

"DURING THE PAST ELEVEN YEARS SINCE MY RETURN TO THE USA, WITH MY AMERICAN WIFE, JENNIFER MY LIFE HAS EVOLVED INTO A PERPETUAL TOUR ACROSS THE COUNTRY. WE LIVE FULL TIME IN A 37 FOOT MOTOR HOME WITH OUR DOG, AND TRAVEL FROM COAST TO COAST GIVING LECTURES AND WORKSHOPS ON THE HEALING AND INTUITIVE ASPECTS OF THE DIDGERIDOO. LIVING AND TRAVELLING IN A MOTOR HOME IS VERY DIFFERENT TO ANYTHING I HAVE EXPERIENCED BEFORE. IN THE PAST, WHEN I WOULD TOUR WITH A BAND, IT WOULD LAST A FEW WEEKS AND THEN I WOULD BE HOME. BUT NOW 'HOME' IS WHEREVER WE PARK THE RV.
THIS LIFESTYLE BEGAN IN 1995, WHEN I WAS A GUEST SPEAKER AT A DEEPAK CHOPRA SEMINAR IN SAN DIEGO. MY TALK WAS WELL RECEIVED AND THE VISITING SEMINAR PARTICIPANTS INVITED ME TO SPEAK IN THEIR RESPECTIVE HOME TOWNS. SO, MY WORK IS CONTINUALLY BEING NETWORKED AS WE TRAVEL. WE'RE USUALLY BOOKED 6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE TO APPEAR AT UNIVERSITIES, COLLEGES, CHURCHES, HEALING CLINICS AND YOGA CENTRES.
LIKE OTHER'SNOWBIRDS' IN THE STATES, WE TRAVEL SOUTH DURING THE COLD WINTER MONTHS, TO AVOID DRIVING IN SNOW AND ICE, AND THEN HEAD NORTH DURING THE WARMER MONTHS. EXCEPT FOR ALASKA, HAWAII AND NORH DAKOTA, WE HAVE BROUGHT A 'PIECE' OF AUSTRALIA TO VIRTUALLY ALL OF MAINLAND AMERICA.
I PRESENT AN INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP WHERE EACH PARTICIPANT IS PROVIDED AND AUTHENTIC AUSTRALIAN DIDGERIDOO TO USE FOR MEDITATION AND BREATHING EXERCISES. THE THEME OF USING THE DIDGERIDOO IS TO CLEAR AND CALM THE MIND IN ORDER TO ATTAIN MENTAL CLARITY AND EMOTIONAL EQUANIMITY. IT APPEALS TO MANY PEOPLE BECAUSE THE DIDGERIDOO IS A NON-DENOMINATIONAL MEDITATION ACCELERATOR THAT IS HARMONIOUSLY ALIGNED WITH EASTERN PHILOSOPHY, WESTERN PHILOSOPHY AND ABORIGINAL TRADITIONS.
IN A STRANGE TWIST OF FATE, I'VE SOMEHOW COME FULL CIRCLE WITH THIS WORK AND MY MUSIC. AS A YOUNG AUSTRALIAN BOY DURING THE EARLY 1960'S, I WOULS STUDY AND IMMERSE MYSELF IN THE MUSIC AND CULTURE OF THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA BLUES, AND NOW AS AN ADULT, I REGULARLY VISIT THE DEEP SOUTH, THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE BLUES, SHARING THE MUSIC AND TRADITIONAL CULTURE OF AUSTRALIA."

(I WONDER WHAT'S WRONG WITH NORTH DAKOTA?)
